Ex Big Heart Media mainstay Beth Newell recently helped run and film a photography workshop for children in Haiti. See her film and find out more at www.viewfinderworkshop.org. It was a huge success and the project has been invited to do another one in Kenya, introducing photography to 40 children living in the shanty towns of Nairobi, partnering with a new secondary school that has recently opened in the Lenana slum. The money will go towards the equipment –  cameras, memory cards & batteries. a printer, paper & ink – all of which will be donated to the school, so that the 40 students and any new children at the school can continue to develop their skills through a dedicated photography club.
